Our Mission is to collect funds from Tahirkheli families located all over the world. These funds will subsequently be used to help underprivileged Tahirkheli children. These funds are allotted and approved via a stringent application process and qualification criteria, which cover tuition, books, supplies, transportation, boarding, and other educational related expenses on a case-by-case basis.
Specifically
Tahirkheli Express aids underprivileged Tahirkheli children
– Who are under the age of 30
– Who are seeking to advance their education in professional colleges, technical diplomas, vocational courses, or IT courses
Today Tahirkheli Express has eleven executive committee members
– Four in the US, Two in the UK, and Five in Pakistan
– These committee members will meet weekly to review funding applications
– All eleven members review the applications before a committee vote is taken
– A minimum of six yes votes are required for an application to be approved
Our progress in 2020 has been significant in the short time since our launch
- We initiated and established the organization along with its charter
- >20 applicants have been approved and funded
- US 501(c)(3) status has been approve
- We have been able to collect over $25,000 in funds with many repeat donors
